EPC net aids service employees in finding the parts they need for a particular job. It saves the parts packages in "shopping lists" that can be created in EPC net.
High-speed searching
The search function in EPC net allows users to quickly find what they are looking for.
Just type in a search term and EPC net will search through the entire data stock. Technicians can also limit their searches to a particular model series. EPC net offers targeted and efficient data retrieval.
Data contents
- Approx. 600,000 parts and 24 million datacards for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and smart
- Vehicle data starting from manufacture year 1978
- Additional parts literature for Mercedes-Benz and smart products (for Mercedes-Benz from 1946)
- Parts literature for 13,000 different models, over 21,000 special equipment options and over 140,000 special equipment variants
Please note that EPC net only has Mercedes-Benz and smart data cards for the European market. It does not contain data cards for vehicles not produced for the European market. If you are dealing with such a vehicle (e.g. a reimport from the US), the data card icon will be grayed out because no data card is available. This means that the system will not filter for parts specific to this vehicle and a parts search will deliver multiple hits. The user will then need to manually select the correct replacement part.
